Mackenzie Byrne
My name is Mackenzie Byrne, and I go to Conwell Egan Catholic High School. I work very hard in school and take pride in everything I do. I was a part of my school's soccer team, and I participated in spirit night. I also love to volunteer at my school and church whenever I can. I am very grateful to have received this scholarship.

Claire Callaghan
My name is Claire Callaghan and I am a third generation American of Irish descent. I recently graduated 8th grade from Our Lady of Good Counsel School, in Southampton PA. With the Ancient Order of Hibernians scholarship that I was awarded, I will be attending Archbishop Wood High School in the fall. Some of my interests include watching and performing in theater productions, spending time at the beach and in the outdoors, and learning new things. I am very grateful to have received the AOH scholarship, and through my essay I have learned so much about the Irish contribution in America, and my family members, that I would not have known in any other way.

Hannah Cumplido-Delgardio

At Holy Family I volunteer at lunch to help the younger kids with their lunches. Then for high school I am attending Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. I played basketball for Holy Family. I also play softball for the bucks county bears and for Conwell. I volunteer at Hope 101 with the AOH Division 5 where I help to serve food for homeless.

I was one of two players picked by the CYO Region 19 Bucks County basketball coaches to represent our region in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia CYO All-Star game at Archbishop Wood High School. Additionally, I Irish step dance with the Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance of Bucks County and have danced in both the Bucks County Saint Patrick’s and Memorial Day parades for several years. I very much enjoy Irish rebel, folk and trad music. In 2025, I volunteered at the Special Olympics Fall Festival at Villanova University. My Grandmother was born and raised An Ghaeltacht in Falcarragh, County Donegal, Republic of Ireland. Her sister was the original owner of the Irish Rover Inn in Penndel, PA. I also come from a long line of Philadelphia and New York City firefighters. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the men of PFC Michael McGinnis USMC Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 2 for awarding me your scholarship.
